Demons Ain’t Deaf – Atmospheric Spiritual Warfare

What changes the atmosphere in your home? It’s simple. Beyond praying over your home (or work), after anointing and dedicating that space to the Lord, past feeding your land communion (literally), now by the power of the Holy Spirit, change the spiritual atmosphere. How? There are two things that I always do in my home.

First, there is always praise and worship music playing. Praise and worship BREAKS bondage. It is a weapon. Turn on your favorite Christian radio channel, streaming service, CD, whatever and let it play on repeat. Why? As the praise and worship goes forth, battles are won. Read 2 Chronicles chapter 20.

Next, play scripture on repeat. Hebrews 4:12 says, the Word of the Lord is LIVING and ACTIVE, much sharper than any two edged sword. It discerns thoughts and intentions of the heart. There are quite a few free bible apps that will play scripture on repeat. You can pick your favorite book, you can start with a scripture that is currently ministering to your life, etc. All scripture is powerful, so pick any one of them and hit play.

I know you’re thinking, what does your house actually sound like with all that playing 24/7? Demons aren’t deaf. Turn the volume to barely audible to the human ear. There is no way on heaven or earth, that the scripture playing won’t break the yoke. The Word IS. It just IS. There is power in the spoken Word and the Word spoken is powerful. The volume doesn’t have to be as loud as a concert – like I said, “demons ain’t deaf.” Isaiah 55 says, He sends His word out and it will accomplish what the Lord wants accomplished.

Change the atmosphere by the power of His Word and through praise and worship. If you are going through a particularly trying season, play Revelation on repeat. Why? God wins. The battle is won. Satan is defeated. The end.
